NEFT System - National Electronic Fund Transfer is a Fund transfer Systems provided by RBI for electronic fund transfer via the internet.

What is a NEFT Code? 

  • National Electronic Fund Transfer (NEFT) is a nation-wide payments system that allows transfer of funds from one bank's account to another. Since it can electronically transfer funds from any bank branch to any individual, it has eliminated the need to visit a bank branch for transfer of funds.
Is NEFT 24/7 is available? 

  • Individual will be able to transfer money online any time as the Reserve Bank of India (RBI)  has allowed 24 /7 ( 24 hour)  National Electronic Fund transfer ( NEFT) system facility throughout all 365 Days in a year. NEFT services,  which were only available on days when banks are open,  will now  operate round the clock on all days.
